Give Yourself a Warm Welcome

At Wescom, online security is one of our primary concerns, and we've implemented a variety of effective measures to keep your online activity safe. One such measure is the Custom Welcome Message, an option that allows you to create a personalized message that appears on the eBranch logon page.

The message can be almost anything: a memorable quote, a line from a favorite poem or song, an inspirational affirmation — whatever you'd like!

Your Custom Welcome Message will do more than just welcome you to eBranch — it will help combat "phishing." Phishing is an attempt to gain fraudulent access to personal information, such as account numbers and passwords. Frequently, phishing involves luring a user to a convincing replica of a trusted site, like www.wescom.org or the eBranch logon page, and using the fake site to steal personal data.

Although a sophisticated phishing site may resemble Wescom's web site, it can't replicate your Custom Welcome Message. That means when you see your message displayed, you know you're accessing eBranch.

Setting up your Custom Welcome Message is fast and easy:

	Log on to eBranch
	Click "Options" on the left menu
	Click "Security"
	Click "Customize Welcome Message"
	Enter your Custom Welcome Message
	Click "Submit"

After you set your welcome message, you'll see it each time you access eBranch using the same computer and browser. If you use different computers and/or browsers to access eBranch, you'll have to set up your message for each computer and browser.
